9. Setting up BizView

A unified console to show business health and a means to map IT infrastructure to business health. This helps to drill down to the root cause with the business navigation view.

  • To configure Bizview, go to Monitor > Status > Objects and click Business view.
  • In Edit mode, you can create your business name by clicking on +Business.
  • Drilling down into your business you can add Service, as shown below.
    • Service is primarily a sub business or a group.
  • Drill down to your Service and add Service dependency
    • Service dependency refers to the monitors that are important to your business. E.g. Ping, Interface Ports, HDD, AP, etc.
